![]() "katysails" wrote in message ... I saw someone motor into a rock (the marina sill, in fact) at 3 kts once. There was nothing "gentle" about it. Seen it, too. A friend with a C&C 35 Mark whatever (race boat...won the Queen's Cup and Admiral's Cup) went cruising and hit a rock "gently" in the North Channel...C&C "smile" quickly ensued. Also, big C&C that used to be at our former marina named "Hedon" hit the reefs off the BVI, came home wearing a C&C "smile". Methinks would be a good thing to take a little snorkle trip under the boat and see if it's grinning. Especially as there were waves about too due to 25kt winds. Regards Donal -- |
