Default OT - So tax cuts don't work?

Hypothesize all you want. It doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

We all are aware of your constant naysaying so more of it is
nothing new.

As for the facts of the jobless rate, the jobless rate was 5.8
percent - only 6/10 of one percent greater when Wm. Clinton
was in office for two years and every liberal newspaper was
touting how great the economy was at that time.

If you are too stupid to recognize biased political rhetoric
when you read it that's something you should work on instead
of blindly repeating it. What a putz!

Good luck America, that's all you've got going at the moment!

You really should stick to politics or something else where it is easy to
pretend you know what you are talking about. Australia's unemployment rate is
6.1%, a meaningless difference, and pundits there are saying it is a "tight"
labor market. The US unemployment rate is lower than in just about every major
European country.

Skitch, Which part of Europe is Australia in? East, or West?

What about them? They were a disgrace. In Clinton's
last year in office the economy started into a recession
that lasted for three quarters and the Democrats covered
it up. Clinton's big tax increases combined with 9-11 and
the normal but unpredictable business cycle all combined
to create the short recession that Bush inherited and has
worked hard to end and has ended. It's onward and
upwards from here.

You Democrats can attempt to re-write history all you want
but you cannot change the time table.

What about unemployment #s? You know the subject you brought up (see
below) remember?

You Democrats ....

Democrats? Sorry Simple but I voted Republican in every election since
1960, campaigned for Goldwater and Slippery Dick and was a dues paying
member of the GOP for decades. But that may be about to change. Like I
said, the only thing lower than a tax-and-spend Democrat is a
borrow-and-spend Republican. Morality? Clinton sold military secrets to
Red China. Reagan screwed Ford then sold out to Iran to embarass Carter
then let Ollie hang out to dry when he diverted some of the ill-gotten
$$$ to the Contras, remember? Which is worse, selling military stuff to
enemies and screwing interns or selling to enemies and screwing your
friends?
