Hypothesize all you want. It doesn't amount to a hill of beans.

We all are aware of your constant naysaying so more of it is
nothing new.

As for the facts of the jobless rate, the jobless rate was 5.8
percent - only 6/10 of one percent greater when Wm. Clinton
was in office for two years and every liberal newspaper was
touting how great the economy was at that time.

If you are too stupid to recognize biased political rhetoric
when you read it that's something you should work on instead
of blindly repeating it. What a putz!

accommodate all the additional job seekers who would enter the market,
attracted by an improved climate. "

Good luck America, that's all you've got going at the moment!

You really should stick to politics or something else where it is easy to
pretend you know what you are talking about. Australia's unemployment rate is
6.1%, a meaningless difference, and pundits there are saying it is a "tight"
labor market. The US unemployment rate is lower than in just about every major
European country.

The unemployment rate is about 6.5, the highest in 9 years.

That the economy is feeble at best? It's been getting worse for
the entire time Bush has been in office. The trend is down not
up. The fact that the economy is growing slowly only says that
eventually there will be a turnaround and eventually the employment
numbers will improve. Eventually can take a long time.

It certainly does negate most of the "good news." Any serious
economist will tell you that.

So, that doesn't negate the good news. It takes the unemployment figures
a little time to catch up. It's not computed every day, you know.
