A new car!
We have an order in for
a Volvo v70R and an Audi S4, both 4wd sport wagons, and will take whichever arrives first. For god's sake, take the Audi. Volvo is the lesser car and continues to have electrical problems. The S4 is a GREAT car. RB |

Who cares? Buy a BMW or Audi and get your money's worth.
I have a friend who had an Audi and it fell apart. Even the rear sway bar fell off while going down a highway. Most people who buy Audis learn to like the waiting room at their dealer's service dept. As far as getting your money's worth on a BMW .... Instead of buying a Honda Accord look-a-like with a stiff suspension for twice the money I'd rather buy the Accord and buy aftermarket springs and shocks. And we haven't even covered the bend over and lube up service dept. prices at your friendly local BMW dealer. It just kills me how some owners brag how reliable BMWs are when some normal service procedures replace expensive parts like distributors at $600 a pop. If you keep a BMW for any length of time and take it to the dealer for maintenance you wind up replacing anything that would go bad - you just do it before it goes bad. BMWs are a joke. Still not one of the big 3, which Loco is tirelessly defending.
Off track again dimwit. I was defending sports cars with American V8s Put your helmet on. Try to stay focused. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |

Until you drive the NSX or RX-8. They are very different, but they do
something the vette can't do as well. They make you feel you can do anything...and deliver. I strongly suggest you test drive either. The fricken NSX is ninety grand! The RX-8 is is a girls car. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |

The Audi's are sweet. We may get one when Suzanne is done with school. I
wish they'd update the body style a bit. With all your bucks why not now? The Subaru is a capable car, perfect and safe for going to School. It's a loaded special edition with twin sunroof, leather interior, heated seats & wipers...quite nice for a AWD wagon under 30K. There's even a NOAA weather radio and room for the girls and sailing stuff! Amazing car during the bad snow we had here. We drove through all of it. Downside: Not a ton of power from the engine. Two much road noise until I bought better tires. I'm doubtful about the heated wipers being effective. There's a new 6, but it's overpriced against the competition. RB |

Note to group: Think back on how many times Bobadil has made extensive use of
items from the press to try and support his own agendas and positions. I've driven a late model vette. You haven't. I've also driven an NSX more than a few times. I drive the nimble WRX constantly...my friend owns one-ugly car though. Let me know how the VW handles! RB |

Yeah...the NSX is a bit pricey. It's one refined car though...even when it was introduced. I think that's why the Japanese sports cars get more respect. They seem to have virtually no refinement curve, They start out great. When the Nissan 300 TT came out, it was beating the Vette of the day. That's impressive, and more than sad for the Vette which was riding on it's checkered history. Hell, even the funny Starion should have been a wake up call to GM. RB |

Nuff said. Bobadil is out for the count no matter how he tries to spin this,
and everyone, including him knows it. Billy Jane is now answering his own posts. Getting kinda scary around here! RB |

Yeah...the NSX is a bit pricey. It's one refined car though...even when it
was introduced. Refined when introduced? People said it was like a kit car. Same way they talk about early Vipers. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |

The Voyager is still the best mini-van around.
Gee, according to the rest of the world the Honda Odyssey has that title with the Caravan second. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |
