Off the wind we touched 11 knots and wasn't we weren't ideally trimmed.
And then you woke up and changed the sheets. Jeff, if you think a J30 or C&C 32 can't best 10 knots in 25-30 knots, I'd be happy to take you for a sail. Hell, we made 9 knots in the Catalina 27 downwind a few times! I hope you're not a HSJ, Jeff. RB |

Where in N.Y was it blowing 25-30 today? On the LIS, especially between hart island and Execution Rock, where it was knocking a lot of boats around. Closer to Oyster bay it fell off. There was even stronger air near the bridges. RB |

I think you need to get your knotmeter fixed. What does it read when
you're sitting at the dock? 7kts? Knotmeter showed better than 12 knots a few times. GPS fluxuated between 9 and 10.5. RB |
