People who get burn have stayed out of the sun too long.
Regular and reasonable exposure to the sun will keep
the pigment in place. The very first time one gets in the
sun one should do it for a short period so one does
not burn.

What you are saying in like saying water will kill you.
Sure water will kill you if you try to breath it or if you
drink four gallons of it a day. If you use it in a normal
manner water will not kill you. Nor will the sun damage
your skin. It is only overexposure to the sun that can
damage the skin via the burning process.

The skin reacts to the UV
and produces melanin to KEEP the skin from being injured. This doctor
us an idiot educated in a liberal university that is clearly teaching lies.

If the skin could react fast enough to prevent damage, people wouldn't get
burns, you putz!

According to every medical source, regular exposure to the sun results in skin
that loses elasticity and a higher risk for skin cancer.
My best friend's father was a geological surveyor, tanned from years of working
on sites most of his life. His "regular exposure" resulted in a long battle
with skin cancer.
Only a fool takes the sun lightly. Wear protection and you'll live longer and
look better!

Bob... that's just plain misleading.... cancer is something not as cut and
dried as you make it seem. Some types of skin are prone to burns, some types
[olive for instance] are prone to tan. You can no more make a blanket
condemnation that exposure will result in cancer than stating having a boat
makes one a sailor.

There are some people who will never get cancer no matter how long they stay
in the sun.... some will get cancer with mild exposure. Just like some
people smoke all their lives and never suffer lung cancer. Your statement is
based on speculation, fear and fashionable attitude... not facts.

Some people are less susceptible to the damaging effects than
others. Everyone has some damage from exposure to the sun.

you telling me
these folks live to average life expectancies despite severe damage caused
by extended exposure to the sun??????

The people you listed have LE well below the average American.
Skin Cancer is a QOL effector more than a fatal disease in most cases.

How would you know? The amount of alcohol has pickled
your brain to the extent that if your body did die, your brain
wouldn't know it for 20 minutes.

No, what he's saying is that ANY water in the lungs from
an outside source is bad for you. Too much will kill you.
