Danny, thank you for stating what is so painfully obvious. In the real,
external world you are responsible for yourself. That implies you are
responsible for your own self defense. Man, as a rational tool making animal
has created the fire arm to protect the products of his labours, his family
and his God given right to his own life.
Yes, some criminals use firearms for evil, but the very argument that calls
for their ban is even greater to call for the ban of a social programs, for
the evil in them is greater in breadth and depth.
Since the downfall of firearm training, ownership and availability America
has gone downhall. Gone are the days of stacks of M-1 Garands in the backs
of high school classrooms. Gone are the days of ROTC watercooled machine gun
practice on the varsity football field. America is no longer a nation of
responsible individuals, but rather a nation of helpless victims - too
incompetent to run their own lives, they need a greater body of incompetents
to run it for them.
You are right Danny, for the most part they are incompetent, fearful wimps -
especially in the coastal areas. There's still places in America where men
can be men but they are becoming fewer and fewer. Thank God for people like
you who can call a spade a spade. It brings back the memories of the Golden
Age of Captain Neal, a man so dedicated to truth, justice and the American
way that he stood head and shoulders above the crowd. Thanks for shining the
brilliant torch of truth and reason on an otherwise dark place.

Thank you Gilligan

I had begun to think the entire technological world had gone of to stand
in Hitler's lines. As a man that has lived in many countries and
traveled to more I have seen the evolution of the loose of liberty. My
family has been in this country since iTS first founding days. I not
only love the USA but I love all countries that live by the rule of self
reliance. There is a movement of pacification that is becoming more and
more obvious daily. When captains of boats, the last of the strong
adventures, preach to lay down your right to Gods given right to live
and ask some one or some thing else to protect them it is the last hour
before WE will have to. All one must do is to read the first 5
amendments to the constitution of the USA and then the 2 first
paragraphs of the Declaration of Independence to realize what our
forefathers where trying to tell us. The only time you need a firearm is
when someone else wants you not to have one.

I can't wait to get out of The Socialist Republic of California and move
back to the south where it still acceptable to believe in God, Family
and Country. It scares me to think life could have degenerated as far
as it has.

thanks again for saying something

have you ever seen good men chasing ever word of a someone that knew
nothing? No. I think only the lower forms of life that feel threatened
use condemning a good mans behavior to try to justify their own
existence. As in the other thread, I will never post something nasty
about anyone without provocation. I wish others had the same class.

As for your insistence that i am not fit to take the helm, please
explain my successes behind one.

I am sorry you feel no ties to your past. It is a healthy feeling shared
by those of us with strong family values. but if you insist, you must be
right that all people coming in from all other countries have the
absolute right to absorb all the benefits this country was given by the
hard working people who's families have been making this country great
for hundreds of years. They have all the right to walk into a free world
without doing anything back and in fact, they have all the right to
immediate benefits provided by the tax dollars that Citizens have paid
before their arrival. You must be right.

Nah Gilly, he created it to kill stuff easily and quickly.
He tired of the endless chase and the risks involved in that chase and
capture so invented a tool where he could hide away safe and destroy
whatever his wish.

In doing that he became so weak that many feel they can no longer

Is it criminal to hunt down and kill a mighty beast because you covet
the sign of his might be it rack, hide or tusk? Is it criminal to
perform that killing from a "safe distance" using a high powered
weapon with telescopic sight so as to give the beast absolutely no
chance of using his defensive tools for flight or possibly even fight?

Screw your little white pills Mooron. Nature challenged is the finest elixer
and tonic a man needs! The snow has been melted out for weeks now. I've even
been out sailing! I've been too busy felling large trees, climbing big
mountains, honing my archery skills and moving large, heavy objects to be
here reminding you all of what life should be!
Danny Taddei is right! And you should heed his word. I can understand his
fustration at the conglomerate ignorance here. Just remember, the Second
Amendment is what protects all the other Amendments. It's about time that
manly virtues are expounded on this newsgroup. It's about time that former
"men" here stopped being led around by the nose by Bobsprit.
Mooron, toss of that skirt you are now wearing and extoll the manly virtues!
Danny Taddei is a welcome, fresh breeze here.
Our society is being overly feminized. Women run the schools and the health
care system. Look at the state they are in. Women fly in space too, a domain
once solely for manly men. It's that damn sit down toilet on the space
shuttle that led to their demise. If it were a man's world, there would be
no toilet, just a bucket (kevlar) and a rope on board!
It's high time our society recognized manly virtue, individual
responsibility and initiative. Danny Taddei is one to take the first steps
down that new road!

I do agree there is little to be lost in theory. It is still hard to
hear someone stating I said something when if fact I did not. It is hard
to deal with scum contradicting everything I say. Add to it that they
are of a mind set i despise and I just can't stand still. I am an
activist and an idealist. i don't stand on roof tops yelling to get some
other man to do my bidding, I take care of the business at hand. It's
just part of who I am.

Mooron can choose to live in the US if he wants.

I'm not ethnocentric at all. I'm simply choosing the best example, no matter
where it may be.

You may view it as ethnocentric, but that is because you are prejudiced.

A bit ethnocentric here, are we? In Canada, where Moroon lives, your

Second
