Three men in a 22 foot Rinker came along side a Catalina 34 on the LIS last
week. They boarded, removed all of the gear and gadgets, badly beat the two
women aboard and were later arrested after the women called the coast guard on
their cell phone.
One of the three men is the son of Christine Todd Whitman. Another is the owner
of a Starbucks on 125th street in Manhattan. The 3rd man was released for
reasons unkown at this time.
