Johnny, you should read carefully before making dumb comments.

I haven't watched Olympic sports in many years, but I seem to recall a
couple of events for pedal-powered bicycles. That seems appropriate for
the Olympics, but I'm pretty certain there is no place in the Olympics
for engine-powered sports, and there shouldn't be.
It's a shame that you find no sports interesting to watch. I'd think you'd find curling fairly
entertaining. No pushing or shoving, no fouls, no exertion, no nasty sweating, all the strategy of
pocket pool, and, according to your bud, extremely exciting.
But, given the pride you show for your country, I can understand you not rooting for the 'home team'
in any of these sports. It's rather neat that Norway is at the top of the medal count.
You're making **** up again. I never said I find "no sports interesting
to watch."
I'm proud of my country when it or its inhabitants have accomplishments
in which it is worthy to take pride. Sending the troops in to provide
disaster relief puts a big smile on my face. So does an American winning
a Nobel for medicine, science, literature, peace. Olympic victories in
which professional, paid athletes compete in activities that once were
appropriate only for amateurs does little for me.
