I have thought it was because of a high theft rate or due the damage caused
by those @#$%$#@! Sea Rays passing you at 20 knots in narrow shallow
channels of the waterway. Once you cross the state line, the further you go
south, the more inconsiderate the power boaters are of sail boats. I also
have another horror story that happened right after the high bridge at St
Augustine for another time..
