I've been out on my cousins 24' Harris pontoon this afternoon.

delightful way to spend a day! *sounds like you and the crew had a
great time

It seems that pontoons were made for the river.

we see alot of pontoons in the channely in barnegat bay...folks seem
to enjoy themselves

Anyhow, a good time was had by all. And it's supposed to be hot this
week, and If all goes right I'll take my barge over there next
weekend.

Y'all ought to do that more often. Life is too short to be bickering

Bob it seems that the pontoons are really -pretty versatile in places
like that and rivers due to the fact of their stability, room and
because they don't have a lot of draft they can safely sneak into
places I wouldn't want to take an I/O or Inboard.

Especially the Wabash. When the level changes drastically like due to
heavy rains up north which can cause the river to rise a couple feet,
it seems there s always something floating down, like tree limbs or
even logs. And when the river really floods out in the spring, you
find some real nasties like an occasional propane tank from somebody's
cabin. But I haven't seen any dead animals in a while.

anyhow, I've seen people take their I/O's out there when the river was
low and it's not uncommon for somebody having to be towed back in due
to losing a prop or worse.

Y'all ought to do that more often. Life is too short to be bickering
