Any time 2 or more dissimilar metals are placed in an electrolyte, the metal
with the lowest nobility is going to disappear. Stainless and bronze, the
bronze loses. Stainless, bronze and zinc, the zinc goes away.
Zincs are a lot cheaper to replace than running gear!
Need to chnge them before they are totally shot. Boats in a marina with
electrical problems on the dock will need zincs far more often that boats in
a place without those problems.
My explanation might not satisfy the scientists on the group, but hey, it
works for me and casual off topic conversation on a political group..
