Isn't it amazing that a certain offended individual in Cambridge, MA

changed his tune from threatening lawsuits to "lets get this behind us".

Hmmm... either I missed that, ignored it, or filtered it out.....

Here's one version:

http://cbs3.com/topstories/Henry.Lou...ectflash=false

Quoting from the article:

"It was a marked change in tone for Gates, who in the days following his
arrest gathered up his legal team and said he was contemplating a
lawsuit. He even vowed to make a documentary on his arrest to tie into a
larger project about racial profiling.

In an e-mail to the Boston Globe late Friday, he said: "It is time for
all of us to move on, and to assess what we can learn from this
experience."

The last sentence of the article still leaves the lawsuit issue up in
the air however, as Gates did not specifically address it.

Y-a-w-n. The incident has become the latest diversionary tactic of the
right, which has no ideas, no plans and no clue about resolving any of
the issues facing this country.

Whatever moral rules you have proposed, abide by them as they were laws,
and as if you would be guilty of impiety by violating any of them,
*unless* you are a conservative Republican office holder or minister. If
that is your position in life, then anything goes.
