Just received the new brake system actuator from UFP - top notch
service.

They've also obviously improved the design - MAJOR redesign. Same
package, but much improved - the more corrosion prone parts are now
epoxy coated, the bushings are heavier and metal instead of plastic
with what looks like bronze (don't know if it is) bushings and it
looks like the housing metal has been adonized.

The best part is that the one part most prone to failure, the brake
release solenoid, is now a part of the master cylinder - cast iron.

Well done UFP.

Well done indeed.

Do you have UFP disks? *Trailer I am looking at has them, and wondering how
they are?

Yep - they are pretty good actually and seem to hold up well. *They
will rust a little when the trailer has been sitting for a while, but
overall, I've had good performance with them.

The problem I've had is their calipers - they tend to stick and you
have to keep an eye out for that.

Other than that, great products.

Again, that' probably due to the brine contamination.
