Default Looks like AOL is doing me a favor...

Dear bschnautz,

Last September we wrote to inform you that your subscription to
McAfee® VirusScan® Plus - Special edition from AOL would no longer be
a complimentary benefit of your membership. While your existing
software will continue to operate normally until its license expires,
we wanted to make sure your online security protection is not
interrupted.

We’ve negotiated a special price just for our members who upgrade to
our premium computer protection software - McAfee® Internet Security
Suite – Special edition from AOL. If you subscribe before June 15,
2009, you’ll pay only $34.99 -- a 13% discount off AOL’s already low
annual rate and a full 50% discount off the regular retail price.

* Faster start-up, shut-down, and scan times allow you to play
games, watch videos, and be productive on your computer without your
security software slowing you down
* Identity-theft protection helps you shop, bank, and trade stocks
online safely
* Network monitoring alerts you when intruders attempt to connect
to your home network

Plus, the newly released McAfee 2009 product changes the game on how
threats are identified. McAfee’s Active Protection technology can
analyze and block a new threat in seconds, rather than waiting hours
for updated malware signatures like other computer security programs.
This is important because a previously unknown virus can attack via a
Web site, e-mail or instant message as soon as you connect to the
Internet.

With more than 5,000 new online threats discovered every month, you
should not let your computer’s security protection lapse. Upgrade
before June 15, 2009 to take advantage of this special early upgrade
pricing.

Sincerely,

AOL Member Services

Best thing to do with that hog is to trash it. I run AVG Free on the
Windoze side of my macs, and it works very well.
