Default Windlass Recommendations

I am interested in installing a windlass on my boat. I was thinking of
putting it in the anchor locker and was wondering of others experiences.


I installed a Lewmar with capstan on top of the deck rode locker and ran
the chain down though the V-berth to the bottom of the boat. Works great.
