Default Electrocuted (not quite) by outboard.

So there I sit in my dinghy, barefooted, too lazy to bail 4 inches of

Is this normal to have the magneto discharge into body parts like this?
Magneto dead shorts to the engine metal to stop it! Jeeze, maybe I
should scratch some paint off the lower unit to it grounds better into
the water instead of the through ME.

Surprised lazy and barefooted dinghy drivers would like to know ;-)
