Default Livaboard simulator

The Livaboard simulator while entertaining isn't really much of a
simulator. It ignores *every* positive aspect of boating. If you really
want to simulate something you capture every aspect of it, not just the
negative.

Larry was making a funny (which I published with Larry's permission in the
NYSC Newsletter some years ago). Fact is, if you are living aboard a 35
to 40 foot vessel that is tied to the dock and never goes anywhere, then
Larry's simulator is spot on. But if you are a cruiser moving from place to
new place all the time, then it is irrelevant even if you sepnd a few weeks
stationary..

Yeah, like I said, it's entertaining, but not realistic. Of course the
main advantage of a cruising boat is it's mobility, same as a trailer or
motor home. Both are compact to make for better traveling economy and so
are not as spacious and luxurious as a house. There is much humor to be
found in the compact nature of the boat/trailer. The opposite would be
funny too, like if someone tried to travel and explore while dragging
their house around with them.
