Having two presidents is starting to feel like having no president,
and that's the situation we'll face until Inauguration Day. Heaven
help us.

Trying to explain The Obama voting present last week?

Whoooooosh.

Right.

As others have stated and as Robinson has explained, there's very
little Obama can do until he is in office. We still have Bush kicking
us around.

The Obama can effect public opinion by naming people to he will nominate
to the various cabinet level positions. This will go along way towards
calming the markets and providing the US public with some comfort that
they elected a guy who may be able to do the job.

D'oh. He's been doing that. Where have you been?
