A permanent ban? I didn't see that at first. Hehehe. I guess Brownie
gets upset when his "authority" is questioned. Imagine someone like that
in charge of anything of importance. Maybe he needs a new nick - Captain
Bligh seems suitable. :)

You know, you may be right...Strawberries or Cap'n Yellowstain may be a
better "nick" than Bligh. Bligh, though over the top, at least was a
competent seaman.

Have you visited the joint Strawberries moderates? It's worse than
rec.boats, with even fewer on-topic posts. It might have had a chance
when Chuck was running it, but since Strawberries took it over, it has
become a dumping ground for the off-topic crap of Strawberries' buddies,
the Seven Little Schitts.
