That's a stupid way to secure the sailboat. People ought to realize that any
wakes will pretty much parallel the shoreline as boats ply the stream or
finger lake.
Instead of securing the sailboat with its beam ends to the wake any sensible
person would secure it with the bow out so the waves would not roll it
around like that. Most sailboats pitch far less than they roll. This is
another case of lubberly ignorance.
So the motorboat gets the blame for poor engineering of the dock and the
stupidity of the dock user! Duh!
