I've never seen a radiator tester used on an outdrive, although I don't
see any reason why it wouldn't work if you can figure out a way to adapt
its fittings. I use one of these:

All you need is the adapter from the gear lube filler kit to put on the end
of the Stant hose. Now you have a multi purpose tool. Nothing wrong with the
tool you have though.
