I'm assuming the one gentleman they found washed ashore at
Moss Beachwith his life jacket on probably expired from hypothermia.
Sad situation never the less. Reminds me of the Jim Grey incident.

Yeah, not much is known... given the conditions, the money is on being
capsized due to the fairly tough conditions. Both were good sailors, but not
young. It probably happened pretty quickly.. perhaps they were thrown off
the boat, but you'd think they would have been wearing harnesses, given the
high winds and 15+ ft swells. It can definitely be scary out there.
