It doesn't do any good because the bullets disintegrate when they
enter the water.

The only thing it might do is stun the fish with the shock wave, but
that's iffy believe it or not.

I shot a fish in a lake in Florida many years ago. The bullet went through
it's head. Killed it deader'n hell. It was only a few inches under the
surface though.
