techniques, reinforcing etc. For one thing, concrete doesn't perform
well in tension, so that is where the reinforcing needs to be. I see
people pouring slabs all of the time and they pull the WWF up to the
top of the slab. That slab face will be in compression with load
applied, and concrete performs very well in compression without
reinforcing. But with load, that slab will crack, because the
reinforcing needs to be in the tension face, or bottom third.
