The English canals are so narrow that you don't have much choice. The
boats are literally built to fit the locks. You do get to cruise by
some really quaint olde villages along the way. It's a very laid back
vacation from what I hear, eating and drinking your way through the
English countryside.

My English buddy did this a few years ago with the family. Said it was very
enjoyable.
