question about swing keel

My question is: is this normal?
I've never owned a Tanzer 22 but IIRC, it's not so much a swing keel
as a centerboard that swings up inside a stubby fixed keel. Wouldn't
be good to lose it overboard but wouldn't be the disaster that losing
a keel would present.
Anyhow, a swing keel on a Catalina 22 has a screw down clamp in the
cabin on the side of the trunk that keeps it from "bonkin" back and
forth. I'm not sure how you could accomplish that trick on a
centerboard that's tucked inside a keel. I'm interested to hear from
somebody that has one though.
The trailer I've got will only accomodate the keel in retracted position,
but I've put out feelers at the yacht club to borrow a full keel-type
trailor so I can inspect the whole mess when it's out of the water. I am
expecting to find some sort of serviceable pivot, be it just a pin or some
sort of bushing system. Hopefully inexpensively.
Thanks
Dave
