Default What's with the anonymous posts and slander?

I don't know about the rest of you but these anonymous posts that slam
Capt. JG are unacceptable. How dare somebody slander a fine, honest,
upstanding, hard working USCG Merchant Marine Officer and not have to
suffer the consequences!

This anonymous poster is a big coward. If he had any real conviction he
would post with a legitimate e-mail where he could be traced so he could
suffer the consequences for his actions. Personally, I'd like to punch
him right in the nose. Maybe that'd make him keep his nose out of other
people's business.

People shouldn't be able to get away scott free with this kind of
personal abuse. Finding some old posts from way back in 1992 and
repeating them over and over again. What does it prove? Even if it's the
same person as our Capt. JG maybe he's already paid his debt to society.
Maybe he's sorry about the things he did in his younger days. We all did
some pretty stupid things when we were young and naive. How long should
somebody have to pay for their past transgressions?

I think we all need to forgive and forget. Even President Clinton
admitted to smoking pot. And, President Bush is a recovering alcoholic.
If people like these can break the law and still be President, what's
wrong with a Captain who experimented wholesale with illegal recreational
drugs about fifteen years ago? Surely there's a statute of limitations
that applies.

I say it's none of the public's business what a Captain they might hire
did fifteen years ago. The public has no right to know. They don't need
to know whose hands they are putting the lives of their children in.
We've got to trust the Coast Guard. They would never issue a license to
somebody who currently uses drugs. They even give periodic random drug
tests to make sure their people are clean. That should be good enough for
the public. And, I wouldn't worry about LSD flashbacks either. I don't
think anybody has them fifteen years later. Put your trust in the
government. The government can do no wrong.

Harry Harris
(Hillary Rodham for President in 2008)

Nobody is interested in listening to a liberal. That's why Air America
went bankrupt. That's why Hillary is such a joke. So please bugger off,
wankstain!

You leftists are such losers. You are incapable of doing anything for
yourselves. You expect government (which is financed by hard-working
taxpayers) to give you a free ride. In other words you expect to have
hard-working Americans paying your lazy-assed way. It's shameful. It just
doesn't work. Socialism is a failure. It's been tried time and time again
and you ignorant libs keep falling for it. Big Daddy government is a
substitute for your being unwilling to go out into the world and be a man.

You want every petty criminal, every Islamic Jihadist terrorist and every
illegal to have full Constitutional rights because, deep down, you know
you share values with these people. You have no ambition, you have no
regard for the law, you have no concept of economics. You don't believe in
paying your own way. You're a disgrace. A dead weight, a burden on
society.

You most likely support admitted drug abusers because you, yourself, have
abused or are now abusing illegal drugs. You're scum. You're
anti-American. You're a drag on the percentage of citizens who pull their
own weight and are burdened by your laziness and ineptitude. It makes me
wretch to think of brave, patriotic, American soldiers dying to protect
your freedom - your freedom to whine and complain, your freedom to be
anti-American. Quite frankly, you stink!

You say "trust government." Yeah right! Government issues professional
licenses to admitted drug abusers because they can't do a decent
background check. What's to trust about that? Government lets
Representative William Jefferson, Democrat, LA continue in Congress while
he's been indicted for high crimes. Government is the problem - not the
solution. Government even continues to let William Jefferson Clinton go
punishment-free after he was convicted of high crimes and misdemeanors. He
lied under oath, he suborned perjury, he obstructed justice with no
consequences. Sure, you can trust government! You can trust it to allow
government officials to go unpunished for their own transgressions and
abuses

Hey, now I get it. They talk about your socks 'cause you do stuff like the
Harry Harris post. Either that or someone really can forge your syntax and
style.
