Though it seems he's moved on to mostly his Troller (motor) designs,
it's interesting to hear his philosophy of sail designs; double-ended;
cutter-rig, easily maintained, etc.
Good interview, with some funny comments too.
Anybody read any of his books, and did you like them?

Have not read his book, but a fellow who was here not long ago buildt
a 42 ft Buehler Dragonfly. Interesting boat.

Buehler is one of many of the great designers and individualists that
have made cruising what it is. Nuff said.

Good boat for a single guy to roam the world. Kind of narrow and
tender when I was aboard but Jim planned to add more ballest. Also a
bit confined below IMO. She was splashed here in my marina and rode
out hurricane Rita. Jim did a fine job building her, he has a boat to
be proud of. He was heading south to the Guatamala or Panama...can't
recall which one.
