thunder my friend, media matters is as corrupt and biased as Mr. Beck.
And remember - Media Matters is David Brock's baby. Remember him?
He was just as much of a sleaze ball conservative as he is a sleaze ball
liberal.
It's all about where the money is and he found his via Soros funding
through MoveOn and a couple of other groups that Soros supports.
The DNCs Rapid Response Team. :)
I wasn't aware of MediaMatter's background, but the point still remains.
If you want accurate information on global warming, there are far more
accurate sources than Glenn Beck, or Al Gore, for that matter. The last
time I looked, there wasn't any argument that global warming is
occurring. It has been documented. The argument is in the causes, and
whether man's activities can ameliorate it.
I quite agree with you on that.
However, when we quote organizations like Media Matters, we have to be
careful. Not that they are dishonest, but they do have an agenda.
The right-wing lunatic quotes attributed to Beck have appeared in any
number of places, along with accompanying video and audio.- Hide quoted text -
BTW, the daughter got Special recognition and Honorable Mention
awards, as well as the Special Achievement for the Jr. Class. don't
know what all that means, but she got three plaques and two
certificates.
Al Gore will be too embarrassed to show his face any more. He may lose the
right to keep his Oscar on his mantle.
And, the Netherlands will not be submerged in the next ten years, and
animated polar bears will not become extinct, and glaciers will continue to
calve, forming icebergs, whether or not they get filmed and presented as
the greatest threat to mankind's continued existence.
