Default Diesel Mechanic in Seattle

wrote in message
oups.com...
One of my 250hp cummins 5.9bta's runs hot. I've been carefull to keep
the rpm's low enough that it doesn't overheat but I need to find
someone who really knows what they're doing to fix this. A highly
recommended mechanic already tried most of the obvious things to no
avail.

Can anyone recommend a diesel mechanic in the Seattle area?

Thanks,
Neil

I take it that it requires running under load to overheat. Take it for a
short trip, feel the hoses for tightness/pressure. Follow the waters path
in and out of heat exchangers, transmissions, exhaust manifolds etc. If
hose going in is tight but going out slightly spongy there is your problem.
Blockage!
