Can this be solved?
It sounds to me like your engine is mounted a little too high. I would talk
to some prop experts about this. One possibility might be to use a smaller
diameter prop, but a bigger pitch. Also, I wonder if those "whale tale"
attachments might help to resolve the problem.

When I running my Pro-line 19 with a Merc 125 outboard pretty much wide
open and go into a hard turn, I get what seem like prop cavitations. If I
back off the throttle a little it goes away.
Not normally a problem but when I'm towing a skier it is very aggravating.
Is there an easy fix for this other than slowing down?
