I don't know what a "F/L 120" is but that seems like a pretty big flywheel.
Flywheel on my gm 350 is probably around 30-40lbs I'd guess.
Tradeoff on any flywheel is that heavier is smoother running to a point but
also slower to accelerate. On a boat acceleration is not much of an issue.
No big consequence in trying it but usually a chore to change flywheels
though.

Has anyone used a heavier flywheel upgrade? I'm contemplating
switching from the 80lb unit on my F/L 120 to the 200lb wheel that is
offered as an option, the wheel is purported to smooth out the engine
but I was wondering if the effect really would be noticible.
