Default SS Tubing Thickness for Bow Rail

Joe,
Normally this tube is 1.2 mm in 316. You can use 1.5 mm wall or .060". This
material is sold in prepolished 6 meter lengths. The heavier wall will
actually bend tighter more successfully.

I am having my bow rail on a Morgan OI41 remade. What is the best
grade of stainless for this, i.e., 304, 316, 318, etc. I am using 1"
tubing. What should the wall thickness be? Is 16 ga. (.065) OK or
should it be heavier? Thanks.

Joe
