I know there's an insulating material which is a fiber one one side and
a metalic sheathing on the other, which is used in many automotive
aplications for soundproffing, insulation, and the metal , I believe is
used as a flame retardent.
I wouldn't think it would be that difficult to come up with something
esasy and inexpensive you can use, though.
