Thanks, Gene. I looked for more info after I saw the video clip but
didn't find anything. Having been in that type of miserable sea the
video clip led me to believe passengers and crew had a terrible time
of it. But apparently limey cruise passengers have more pluck,
medicine and distractions than regular sailors, so it wasn't quite as
bad as it looked.
It's my view that when enduring such conditions cabaret dancers
falling in your lap would certainly be helpful, and more beneficial
than the Cinzano.

I was laying in my bed sleeping off the excesses of the night before
watching the cabaret dancers and downing pints of Cinzano when the
whole ship lurched to the left sharply. I dashed into the corridor and
found fire-extinguishers dislodged from their mountings rolling
alarmingly down the corridors. The Captain came over the intercom and
quickly reassured everyone, but it was many hours before we were on
our way again. The cabaret dancers entertained both customers and crew
throughout the day though and Cinzano supplies were not effected!!
