I will prefer to install in a different location and my concern is the
noise under the forward bunk.

I hope that someone has a different location for the A/C unit.

I had an '87 270 Dancer with the AC fitted under the forward bunk. I
would have preferred another location but that is where the previous
owner stuck it.
