I understand that. And the parents of those dead kids are idiots for
leaving their children unattended...even for a few seconds.
And you were never inattentive to your kids? My children went to Drown
Proofing class as early as was possible. The were in diapers, and we had a
house with a pool several years before kids. We had oldest crawl out the
front door and down the street and around the corner. They are fast. We
lived on a court off a dead end street and she did stay on the sidewalk.
Yes I am a bad parent. Beat you to it. Also let my kids drive the dune
buggy when they were about 7 years old on private land. Slow and first gear
only.
