Default Aluminum prop lasts in sal****er

My boat is almost five years old and has an aluminum prop on it. I
periodically remove the prop and clean it and lube it and have never
noticed any rust.

You better not notice any rust on an aluminum propeller!

Has anyone else
experienced longevity with aluminum props in sal****er or am I just
having a run of good luck?

It is a major issue for boats that sit in the water all the time. If your
boat is only in the water 8 hours a week then your prop should last about 21
times as long. It is even worse for boats that are in the water all the
time and left hooked up to shore power as they can develop an electrolysis
path between the shore power "ground" and the water.
