If the higher end copolymer ablatives live up to their advance billing

should clearly be the case, since you're supposed to be able to haul for

winter and splash the boat in the spring without doing anything to the
bottom.

As pointed out in a previous response, this is true. I only paint every two
years currently, based on my two-coat program over a base of a different
color for ablation monitoring.
