Default Splicing instructions update

I just noticed that the instructions for eye splicing Sta-Set that I
downloaded from the New England Ropes site are slightly different than
the ones in the booklet that came with the fid set. I downloaded the
instructions first and then ended up teaching myself from the booklet
because it was right there.

There are a couple of clearer explanations in the on-line version and
a couple of things I figured out the hard way.

Use the downloaded version if you try this at home.

It's a good thing to know how to do. I'm going to save seven bucks on
each of my new docklines and the eyes will be the size I want.

The question is, why would you want to use Sta-Set for a dock line???

Sta-Set is double braid Dacron, with relatively low stretch (though
not as low as high tech stuff) that is better suited to jib sheets.
For dock lines why wouldn't you use nylon? In both cases, the
strength is about 8500 pounds for 1/2 inch line, but nylon will
stretch about 5% at 800 pounds load, while Sta-Set is only around 1%.
I would think that having several inches to a foot of elongation
available in a dockline would be highly desirable.
