Well, yeah, it's wet again. Still we're not on day 27 of rain. You know,
we flooded during our heavy 10 day stretch of rain storms, but I'm not
hearing flood reports for the PNW. ?

There has been quite a bit flooding (http://tinyurl.com/bllvv and
http://tinyurl.com/az6c5, for example), but we've just got too many
hills for any real widespread flooding; We are getting a lot of
mudslides and washouts, though. (http://tinyurl.com/a92ff)

"Rivers around the Seattle area were still at or near flood conditions
on Friday, although National Weather Service flood watches in Clallam,
Grays Harbor, Jefferson, King, Lewis, Mason, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish,
Thurston and Whatcom counties were set to expire at the end of the day.
No new mudslides have been reported, but officials have said ground
saturation levels continue to make more slides possible."

Not only slides, but lots of trees have been coming down because of
gusty winds and the fact that the ground is too saturated to hold the roots.
