Jim, your support of the original essay posted by 'rebel' seemed to
indicate
agreement with its arguments. In the essay, the phrase, "Defeat Islam and
stop
terrorism" was used to summarize the position of the author.

Note that the author didn't say, "Defeat Muslim extremists and stop
terrorism."
He (or she) referred to 'Islam' (all Muslims) just as a reference to
'Catholicism' would refer to all Catholics.

Perhaps this is the source of the confusion between what you really think
and
what it 'appeared' that you really think!

I posted that only to show that the terrorists are indeed Muslims and
followers of Islam.....and in an extreme way. The article clearly pointed
that out.

I did not post it to show that all Muslims and followers of Islam are
terrorists...the article clearly shows that not to be the case.

There is no confusion John, other than perhaps on your end.
