Thanks for the reply Tom. After I read your post, I had a DUH moment
almost immediately when I started - I looked back where the cowling
switch wiring was/is and saw where the remote switch met up with that
wiring (three wires - I think - red, blue and green). DUH, the red
wire plug was obviously defective and had come loose! A very easy fix.
