I'm very seriously thinking of getting a 14-16 foot bare necessity boat

up, amd you don't rip the lower end off your I/O!
Thanks for your post. I'm really getting tempted now.
I did a favor for a boat dealer last summer and this was the end
result. I got the boat, electric start 25 hp tiller Johnson and
trailer as part of the compensation.
I ran it for about a hour last fall when I picked it up - it went from
fall to winter in the space of a week last year, so I've been putting
some time on it this "spring".
I should have purchased one of these years ago. The entire
boat/engine/trailer package is worth about $4,700 US - the trolling
motor, X-85 (used) and batter adds another $250 and if you want to
count the handheld chartplotter for another $850, the whole package is
under $6,000.
And I'll say one thing for Princecraft - this is a quality boat-
almost in the Lund category.
I'm very impressed with it.
Later,
Tom
