I am currently in Rayong in Thailand. That is right on the gulf of
Thailand. There are lots of charter companies all over Thailand. Phuket
and the Andaman sea is some of the best sailing in the world. Winds
tend to be steady and right now the weather on shore is hot but a bit
out it is cooler. Last time I investigated one, they are sailing out
of Pattaya. They have a selection of boats. I was interested in
chartering a Beneteau Oceanis 33. The daily rate was 7500 Baht per day
for a bare boat and 10,000 Baht per day with crew and meals and soft
drinks. I lookeda thte boats andtheya re good and clean. You can
charter bigger boats, up to 60 ft and for longer times. Right now is
the low sason so prices are better and boats are always available.
