True enough. But at the time I dropped out (halfway through senior
year) I had enough credits to graduate, and by agreeing never to set
foot on campus again I became a dropout with a diploma the following
June. The whole thing was a bit of "plea bargain" at the time. We had
stuffed as many friends as would fit under the plywood canopy of an old
pickup truck and declared an unauthorized educational "field trip" down
to Haight Ashbury....but that's a story from long ago, and far away-
and if you weren't young in the 60's you wouldn't completely understand
:-)
Nobody ever learned to write in college. I'll never be a Faulkner or
Hemingway due to my lack of talent- not my lack of education.
Today the top 100 for 1960, '61, and '62 are available for your listening
enjoyment as mp3 files at:
alt.binaries.sounds.mp3.1960s
I suppose you'd go to jail for downloading these, but ...
