Hi Everyone,

I'm new to this group also to boating, me and my friend acquired this
small fishing boat (14 ft) and the previous owner mentions that it
might have a small leak around the bottom where the boat sits on the
rollers, but he is not sure.

So my question is there a good why of finding the leak without putting
it on the water. One direction that we have in our mind is to hose
water inside the boat and see if there is any water dripping out from
the bottom of the boat...

Thanks for your suggestions !!!

Suggest you add some food coloring to the water in the boat, so you can
tell if what you see is overspray, or leak.

Do NOT fill the boat -- hulls are constructed to keep water OUT, not in,
and trailers are designed for empty boats
