My wife and I will be bringing our new (to us) sailboat back to
Pensacola from Galveston around the end of March. As we have never
made this trip before (we intend to go ICW) we would be interestd in
hearing from those who have. Of particular concern is the transit
through New Orleans. Any tip you have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Grant, I'm devilishly curious....

Why not SAIL the boat to Pensacola from Galveston, instead? I think we can
do it with only ONE turn from harbor entrance to harbor entrance! It'd
probably be boring if the winds stay out of the West behind you wing and
wing or flying the chute....

Just curious. Grab some sailors from you Pensacola docks! They'll bring
the food and beer. We do....(c; Man what a great trip that would make in
that new boat! Finding able crew in your marina should be EASY!

Sailboats belong AT SEA!
