I have had both Bennett and Boat Leveler trim tabs. I installed the
Bennetts on my 30 ft. CC and ran into a small problem with the switch.
Bennett was located in St. Clair Shores, MI at the time, a short drive
for me. One of plant managers took my into an office and literally drew
a new diagram for the electricsl hook up and made it clear that I should
come back and see him personally if I had any further problem. It all
went well after that. I have Boat Levelers on my 21 footer now and I
can't see any difference in performance. One disadvantage to the
Bennetts is the lines are a hard plastic material and tend to get
brittle. I was on a CC in Atlantic City getting ready to leave for FL
and we broke one of the lines. It was almost impossible to "jury rig"
the line and we were forced to wait till we could get a proper fitting
to repair it. The Boat Levelers use neoprine hose similar to fuel line
and are easy to repair. However, the hose is exposed outside the boat
and under water. A muskrat chewed mine up once and I repaired it on the
trailer in about 20 min. Still, given a choice, I would opt for the
Bennetts..

Happy boating, Norm
